The story of our players: Dudu Klein
Eduardo Klein known as Dudu, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Hong Kong Premier League Southern. He is a versatile midfielder who can play as a central defender or defensive midfielder. Dudu came through the youth system of Brazilian giant Santos, where he played with Neymar.
In 2013, he transferred Resende, Dudu scored the winning header for Resende in their 3-2 away win against Flamengo.
In 2016, Dudu joined Hong Kong Premier League club Tai Po. In 2018-19 season, he was part of the squad that won the Tai Po’s historical first-ever league title. In 2019-20 season, he captained the club, becoming the first ever foreign captain in Tai Po history.
Dudu then moved to R&F but with the club withdrawing from the HKPL four months after he joined the club, he had to quickly find a new club and Eastern was the next stop for him. With a change of team management at Eastern, he then moved to Southern this year and currently they sit 1st place in the HKPL.
Dudu made over 65 appearances in the HKPL and scored 15 goals.
